“I know that my script wouldn’t be complete without Max’s input. Initially, I approached him to assist in my understanding of trans experiences, to ensure the writing of my main character was reflective of that community, but he provided me with guidance surpassing that narrow expectation. Through his work, I revised my script with an even wider lens in regards to gender and queer dynamics as a whole, noticing how all of my characters interact in a way I was blind to noticing. Through my work with Max, I found the core themes that my script needed to tell the story I wanted to contribute to the world. He met me with generosity, precision, and wisdom. It was the most productive notes session I could have ever asked for.” — Katherine, screenwriter + recent client
